“We already calculate our operations’ climate impact, report CO₂ emissions from construction and carry out climate calculations for new builds. Working with Plant allows us to develop corporate climate reporting smoothly while focusing more on climate optimisation. That feels extremely positive,” says Karin Mizgalski, Sustainability Director at Wallenstam.

“We want to make it easy to produce several climate estimates throughout a project and track how different choices affect its final climate impact,” says Pelle Tunell, CEO of Plant. The software used for Wallenstam is self-learning and can recognise patterns in BIM models: 3D models created during construction for design and visualisation, gathering information about building processes and decisions.

“Our climate calculations provide a detailed understanding of where a building’s climate impact arises. Calculating so many projects at different stages also lets us begin identifying patterns in an entirely new way,” says Pelle Tunell, CEO of Plant.
