The climate pledge is an initiative by Klimatarena Stockholm, a collaborative platform for the county’s climate transition. It aims to coordinate and improve collaboration between businesses, municipalities and academia to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with the Paris Agreement.
By signing the pledge, Plant commits to continuing active work aligned with the Paris Agreement, striving for climate neutrality in all building and infrastructure projects in Stockholm County by 2030 and actively participating in climate leadership.
“Signing the climate pledge is a natural step for Plant, given our offering and clear commitment to climate action,” says Pelle Tunell, CEO of Plant.
To help realise the pledge’s vision of climate neutrality, Plant commits to continuing to support and accelerate the circular transition in building and infrastructure processes, including new construction and refurbishment.
“Collaboration within the construction sector is important if we are to solve the industry’s climate challenges. We look forward to working, learning and growing with like-minded organisations to create a sustainable future for Stockholm County and our planet,” says Pelle.
As a participant, Plant will contribute to collaboration, knowledge-sharing and pilot projects that support innovation and help accelerate positive change across the industry and county.
